The 15th Annual Spring Indianapolis Bead, Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds‘ Agriculture/Horticulture Building on March 22, 2013 thru March 24, 2013.
The show will feature gold and silversmiths from all over the United States, hand-picked jewelry dealers, classes and refreshments. Hourly door prizes will be given away and one lucky guest will have a chance to win the grand prize: A Gold Ring/with a precious stone.
Customers will be able to work with gold and silversmiths to have original jewelry made from gems, stones, opals and crystals that they personally choose. These creations will be made while you wait, per your specifications. Feel free to also bring in jewelry in need of repair or reconstruction.
Featured dealers will span such categories as wire wrap, wire sculpture, stone beads, pearls, stone setting, amber, opal, fossil and minerals.
The 500 Earth Sciences Club, local Gem & Mineral Society, will also be in attendance at the show. Its an opportunity to meet the members and learn more about the sciences of Geology, Mineralogy and Paleontology.
Pat Westby from the Dayton Gem & Mineral Society will offer a free clinic on the art of making Lampwork Beads, which will take place after the show closes on both Friday and aturday evenings.
Danny Spurge will teach a daily class on bead stringing, wire wrapping and viking net.
