“Bieber Fever” continues to rage across the globe, as 18-year-old pop superstar, Justin Bieber, continues his sold-out BELIEVE world tour. He will descend on Indianapolis Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Millions of fans have already played a part in making the tour a huge success, so much so in fact that the tour was extended with 30 additional shows.
The tour is in support of Beiber’s his fourth album, BELIEVE, which has already achieved considerable success with the releases of “As Long as You Love Me” and “Right Here.”
The Canadian-born pop-R&B singer has come a long way in a short time. Born on in London, Ontario in 1994, was raised in a low-income housing project in Stratford, Ontario by his single mom. He taught himself to play various instruments, such as drums, guitar, piano and even trumpet.
The genesis of his singing career began at the age of 12, when he placed second in a local singing competition in Stratford. His mom posted a video on YouTube, and continued to upload videos of Bieber singing various covers songs.
Then things got really interesting when an American talent manager named Scooter Braun came across Bieber’s YouTube videos. He would eventually become his manager. His fate was sealed when Braun introduced Bieber to Hip-Hop artist, Usher, and later signed to Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher.
His debut single, “One Time”, was released globally in 2009, and quickly climbed the charts in over ten countries. The rest is history.
