This is without a doubt my favorite time of year! Lots of fall festivals, farmers markets, pumpkin patches and corn mazes. This coming Thursday through Saturday there will be a fall festival held in the heart of Historic Irvington. Come celebrate the start of fall at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish from 5 pm – 11 pm on Thursday and Friday and on Saturday from noon – 11 pm. There will be tons of carnival rides, live entertainment, games, a silent auction and great food. You also won’t want to miss your chance to win the$10,000 grand prize raffle. On Friday there will be a Texas Hold’em tournament in the Monte Carlo room. Early buy is $40 of $60 at the door. To register for the tournament contact Angie Montgomery at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In conjunction on Saturday from 7 pm – 10 pm will be the Irvington Brewfest inside the Our Lady of Lourdes Gymnasium. For $10 you’ll receive a swag bag with a souvenir pint glass, tastings, and some other awesome swag. While you’re at the Fall Fest pop on into the Brewfest and taste some of the best craft beer, mead, and cider in Indy. Featured breweries are: Black Acre Brewing, Flat 12 Bierwerks, Fountain Square Brewery and New Day Meadery. If you’re the designated driver or not drinking you’re allowed into the Brewfest and only those with a wristband will be served alcohol.
