It’s official. It has snowed too much in Indianapolis and that is coming from someone who used to enjoy white winters. The problem is I can’t even remember the last time we didn’t have snow on the ground.
The previous record for the most snowfall in Indianapolis from the months of December through February was set at 51 inches back in 1981-82. After receiving another 1.1 inches of snow on Saturday, we have officially reached 51.6 inches this winter.

In order to beat the record for the full snow year (July 1 - June 30) we’ll have to have over 58.2 inches. Only 6.6 inches away, I wouldn’t put it past Mother Nature.
