#WhitelandIN – Kelsay Farms in Whiteland has provided fun for central Indiana families every fall. The family owned dairy farm is a local favorite for school field trips and a popular agritourism location for the public every October. Park your car at no charge, pay your admission and enjoy all of the activities available at the farm, with no other out of pocket expenses (unless you stay for lunch or want to take a pumpkin home).
Your $8 admission (ages 2 and up) includes access to the 7-acre Corn Maze, the Hay Bale Mountain where kids can climb over and under and through a hay bale structure and slide down from the top, a fun Rope Maze, Hayrides through the cornfields, a ride aboard the Moo Choo Express barrel train, a toddler play area and our personal favorite: the Corn Crib Play Area, where kids can slide into a barn full of corn kernels, swim through them and dig to the bottom.
Your visit to the the dairy farm wouldn’t be complete without a tour of the milking parlor where you’ll probably see the cows being milked, the barn where the cows hang out and eat and a special baby petting area where you’ll come in contact with some of the newest calves at Kelsay Farms.
For an extra special challenge, visitor can traverse the corn maze by flashlight (bring your own) on Fridays and Saturdays until 10pm. Fall break hours give parents a perfect place to take the kids while they are out of school, plan your visit the week of October 13th and 20th from noon until 6pm. Check the Kelsay Farms website for other special events.
The Farm is open to the public on Fridays from 6pm to 10pm, Saturdays from noon to 10pm and Sundays from noon to 6pm. Head to 6848 N. County Road 250 E, Whiteland, about 20 minutes from downtown Indy.
