#Indianapolis – Chocolate and I go way back. I can’t ever remember life without a chocolate stash nearby. Now that it’s Halloween candy season, there are no shortage of options right next to my bed. I like caramel chocolates, peanut butter chocolates, and even tootsie rolls. Which, for the record, aren’t even real chocolates. But every now and then, I splurge on serious chocolate.
We have several chocolate shops in the Indianapolis area, and I’ve stopped by a few of the best over the last few weeks. Here is a run down on my favorite chocolate in Indianapolis:
Best Chocolate in Town sits near the end of Mass Ave, and I stop by whenever I find myself in the area. It has smooth, delicious chocolate and candies with unique flavors, but it is one of the pricier options.
See’s Candies is in the Keystone Fashion Mall in the cafe area. The best thing about See’s is they will offer samples on every visit. It’s a great way to try something new each time and find new favorites.
South Bend Chocolate Company has a few locations in the Indianapolis area. My favorite is on the circle, where you can also get amazing cafe options, incredible hot chocolate, and ice cream sundaes topped with their chocolates. Try the turtle sundae — trust me. South Bend also has some of the best options for holiday specials.
