Public Art in Indianapolis
Public art projects have long been a part of Indianapolis culture. From Mass Ave to Fountain Square, from Broad Ripple to the Monon Trail, the Indianapolis community brims with pubic art. Even Indy’s largest national event ever, Super Bowl XLVI, added to the fabric of public art with the 46 for XLVI project. 46 new public art murals were created throughout the city to celebrate this Indianapolis sports event and welcome visitors to the Circle City.
