The Circle City is famous world-wide for the exciting Indianapolis sports that happen year-round, but only Hoosiers are aware that the Indianapolis arts are just as important in Indy. This is why the excellent high school that houses the Warren Performing Arts Center maintains a first-class auditorium, and why Indianapolis schools are a good bet to provide Indy students with a well-rounded, wide-scoped curriculum.
This stunning facility contains more than 116,000 square feet of space that is given over to the study, practice and performance of the arts. Ideal for all kind of performances, the Warren hosts numerous shows throughout the year, as well as special Indianapolis events.
This landmark is a fitting symbol of Indianapolis culture, a force that is very much alive and well in the epicenter of the great American Midwest. Inside the complex are rehearsal halls, areas for construction and the Eash Grand Auditorium, which can accommodate 1,000 people inside its lush walls. The stage is enormous, with a full 5,000 square feet of performance space and 45 trapdoors in the floor for an endless permutation of special effects.
The lessons learned at the Warren Performing Arts Center about diligence in practice, teamwork and respect for the arts in general will serve the lucky students well for a lifetime.
