University of Indianapolis Women’s Soccer: Lady Greyhounds Rock

The University of Indianapolis women’s soccer team regularly takes on a lot of tough teams in the highly competitive Great Lakes Valley Conference and is considered by many to be in the running for a conference championship title every year.
The Lady Greyhounds, as the team is known to their many adoring fans, give one hundred percent in every game and are known for their unwillingness to lose, their unquenchable thirst for victory, and their reputation for standing their ground until the job is done.  If you call yourself an Indianapolis college soccer fan, then this is the team for you.  Among all the great Indianapolis soccer players at colleges, such as IUPUI women’s soccer team, the Greyhounds don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk.
The University of Indianapolis women’s soccer team is lead by the brilliant soccer minds of second-year Head Coach Geoff VanDeusen and Assistant Coaches Mallory Milburn and Courtney Zgraggen.  The Greyhounds host a number of home games on campus at Key Stadium (capacity 5,500), just minutes directly south of beautiful downtown Indianapolis.

There are many opportunities throughout the fall Indianapolis sports season to see the team in action.  Come on out and support the University of Indianapolis women’s soccer team, yet another reason why Indianapolis is truly the amateur sports capital of the world.
