Bontrager set out to make the world a better RV. On the family farm, Mr. Bontrager began developing his own prototype inside of two chicken houses and a barn.

Mr. Bontrager’s mission was accomplished when he developed a lifter system for pop-up campers. This system made it easier for the campers to pop up and down, it was an innovative development and is still used in the industry today.
