Boost Your Management Skills Conferences

Two seminars produced at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce this month focus on time management and leadership skills:

  • Tomorrow, September 1, 2009, at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in the Conference Center, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, an event called “Time Management Workshop” is being offered by Comprehensive Performance Systems. The cost to members of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is $299, for non-members, $324. The workshop provides information on sub-topics such as how to effectively deal with interruptions, how to make your meetings effective and other key time management concepts.
  • A two-day workshop titled “Supervising and Managing People” convenes at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Conference Center September 15 and 16, from 8 am to 4:30 pm on both days. Also put on by Comprehensive Performance Systems,  this second conference covers motivational and problem-solving techniques, inter-personal communication in the business forum, and other leadership style issues. The cost for this two-day workshop is $599. Geared for supervisors of all levels and experience, this two-day conference presents some of the most up-to-date concepts and proven information on the topic of management.

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce building is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, between the Hyatt Regency Downtown Indianapolis and the Conrad Hotel, also downtown, just two blocks from Indy‘s famous Monument Circle.
