It’s A Wonderful Life Makes for a Wonderful Downtown

The lights of Indianapolis downtown during the holiday season mark a celebration of the both the city and the holidays. As a fundraiser for  Indianapolis Downtown Beautification this holiday season, the committee to make and keep Indianapolis beautiful is teaming up with United Artists Cinemas. This Thursday, December 3 watch the holiday classic It’s A Wonderful Life at the United Arts Circle Centre 9 Theatre in the Circle Centre Mall of Indianapolis downtown.

For only $5.00 per person, you can share the magic of George Bailey’s most fateful Christmas with the whole family. From 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, rub elbows with Santa Claus, enjoy free appetizers, and do some Indianapolis shopping at their silent auction. It’s A Wonderful Life begins at 6:30 pm. Introduce your Indianapolis kids to one of the best holiday films ever made.

Share in the 1946 story of the aspirant adventurer George Bailey. But when the beautiful old Building and Loan keeps him in the small town of Bedford Falls, his dreams remain out of reach for years and years. With a wife and a family, George Bailey becomes something of a local mascot and a champion of the common man. But the evil Mr. Potter looms over him with the constant threat of bankruptcy. Just when things look their bleakest, a wingless angel, Clarence, helps George realize the true meaning of Christmas and wonderful life he has lived.
