National Concert Band Festival March 4 to 6

This weekend, March 4 through 6, Music for All presents the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis at Clowes Memorial Hall. This weekend long Indianapolis festival brings together the best in bands from across the United States. Purchase single day tickets or an entire festival pass to enjoy this Indianapolis music event on the campus of Butler University.

See the best in up and coming young musicians as high school bands from across the nation take the stage of Clowes Memorial Hall in the National Concert Band Festival. The weekend long concert is a marathon of music featuring Bands of America National Band Festival, Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival and the Middle School National Music Festival. In addition, concerts will be performed by the Honor Band of America, the Honor Orchestra of American and the Jazz Band of America, each of which is composed of the most talented young musicians from across the United States.

Ensembles performing at this Indianapolis event were selected through a rigorous audition process. So expect to truly hear the best of the best in bands of today. Each ensemble entered into a taped audition process. Though the festival is not a competitive event, the honor of joining such an array of fine concert musicians for one weekend long festival will be a memory that will last a life time for many participants.

On top of their performances, high school participants take part in clinics throughout the weekend. The festival spans the weekend and takes place at both Clowes Memorial Hall and Warren Performing Arts Center. This special Indianapolis music event is not to be missed.
