Big Dance Concert Series Celebrates Final Four

The Final Four comes to the Circle City, as the Butler University Bulldogs attempt to make Indianapolis sports history. But with this fun Indianapolis event comes with a host of fun things to do in Indianapolis. Head to the Lawn at the White River State Park in Indianapolis downtown April 2 to 4, 2010 for the FREE Big Dance Concert Series, a three day party to celebrate the Final Four. Don’t miss this fun and FREE Indianapolis music event.

The fun gets started at 4:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010 at this AT&T® Big Dance Concert Series and Block Party. The party offers great entertainment from hot musical acts, games, activities, plenty of food and a chance to win great prizes from the AT&T 3G Experience tent. At 5:00 pm on Friday, Indianapolis band Shadeland takes the stage. Then stick around for the Naismith Award Show at 6:30 followed by another musical act. All this leads up to a performance by the international super stars Stone Temple Pilots at 9:00 pm.

Saturday, April 3, 2010, the fun gets going again at noon, when the gates to the White River State Park Lawn open up once more. During the Coca-Cola Countdown to the game, enjoy entertainment, a Pep Rally, a military flyover and a game viewing party. At 12:30 pm, former American Idol season 5 finalist, Melanie Fiona, takes the stage. Then the World’s Largest Pep Rally gets started at 1:45 pm. Look to the skies at 2:15 pm for a military flyover. Enjoy the music styling of the Country Music Association New Artist of the Year, Darius Rucker, at 2:30 pm. Followed by a performance from Daughtry at 4:00 pm and a Game Viewing Party at 5:00 pm. Ryan Seacrest will be on hand to lead the countdown to the game.

Whether your team wins or loses on Saturday, the party continues at the White River State Park Lawn. The Big Dance continues with the Elms at 4:15 pm and Jake  Owen at 5:45 pm. Then at 7:15 pm the Grammy Award winner LL Cool J spits some rhymes. His performance will be followed on at 8:45 pm by a concert from the four time Grammy Award nominees the Goo Goo Dolls. Located near the Indianapolis Canal Walk, the White River State Park has prime Indianapolis real estate. Its location near some of the coolest Indianapolis attractions, like the Indiana State Museum, the NCAA Hall of Champions and the Eiteljorg Museum, gives the Big Dance Party an edge.
