Victorian Theatre by Candlelight presents three mysterious stories throughout the President Benjamin Harrison Home in Murder and Mystery in the Mansion. As guests pass from room to room, they will enjoy a salon style theatre experience as they watch three one acts unfold. These chilling tales of mystery, murder and macabre will send tingles straight through your bones.

The back parlor sets the scene for the first play, which shares the story of a mysterious house possessed by an evil spirit, Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher.”  The second one act play examines a case of a missing body in the dining room as Lord Dunsany’s macabre story “The Two Bottles of Relish” unfolds. The final play, told in the mansion’s master bedroom, follows the story of a woman afraid for her life, in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Speckled Band.”
