Monument Circle Ice Cream Social to Benefit Fight for Life Foundation

Nothing beats a cool creamy sundae on a hot Summer day. The American Dairy Association intends to capitalize on this fact in Indianapolis downtown on July 9. The American Dairy Association and its Hoosier Dairy Farm Families present the 21st annual Ice Cream Social on Monument Circle to benefit Marlin Jackson’s Fight for Life Foundation. Head to the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument this Friday, July 9 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for some delectable frozen treats on the northwest quadrant of Monument Circle in Indianapolis downtown. Cool of with some cold ice cream and help raise money for a worthy Indianapolis charity in the process.

Annual Ice Cream Social on Monument Circle, Indianapolis, Indiana$3.00 buys a gigantic ice cream sundae made with chocolate, strawberry, caramel or butterscotch sundaes from Edy’s Slow Churned Light Ice Cream. Each frozen treat will be decked out with a variety of Smuckers syrups, sprinkled with an array of topping and crowned with a huge dollop of whipped cream. Yum Yum! You can be satisfied as you enjoy your cool treat, knowing that all money raised through the sale of sundaes will go to benefit Marlin Jackson’s Fight For Life Foundation.

The Fight for Life Foundation impacts the lives of underprivileged Indianapolis kids by focusing programming in the areas of education and wellness. Dedicated to enlightening the lives of Indiana’s youth, this noble Indianapolis organization teaches kids how to overcome the peer pressures of poverty by encouraging positive behaviors in an effort to reach their dreams and goals. In the three hours of last year’s annual Ice Cream Social, the Fight for Life Foundation sold more than 2700 sundaes to raise more than $8600.00. Help make this annual fundraiser a booming success once more, and treat yourself to a delicious sundae while you are at it.
