Laugh in the New Year! Comedy, Improv and More Fun During January, 2011

Of course you’re serious about getting back into the thick of things after your holiday vacation. Naturally you’re focused on your new year’s resolutions. Certainly you have committed yourself to a rigid, ongoing dedication toward your goals. Just don’t forget about the power of comedy while you’re at it, okay? Take a break before 2011 sails in and takes over. There are tons of opportunities to laugh in the new year in Indianapolis, with comedy, improv and much more fun at your fingertips, all around the Circle City, and other nearby cities in Indiana.

Tonight, for example, is a one-time-only production of Operation Comedy at the renowned Athenaeum Theatre in energetic downtown Indianapolis. This fun Indianapolis event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project and Indy‘s unsung military, and is the Hoosier answer to the national effort by the same name, currently sweeping the United States.

Below is Fun City Finder‘s collection of Indianapolis performing venues offering a laugh a minute through the first month in 2011. What better time to get serious about your comedy?
