See "Ghetto Dr. Phil" Perform at the DJ Geno Valentine Comedy Jam

The DJ Geno Valentine Comedy Jam, staring Corey Holcomb, Gary Owens and Huggy Lowdown is coming to the the Old National Centre in downtown Indianapolis on Friday, February 15, 2013.

Born and raised in Chicago, Corey Holcomb has billed himself as a “ghetto Dr. Phil”. He offers a comedic perspective on ghetto life, particularly as it concerns street life, poverty and relationships gone wrong. Who else could come up with a “Kelley Blue Book” for women and get away with it?

Holcomb has also appeared on the Jerry Springer Show, and has been a frequent contributor to such shows as Comic View, Def Comedy Jam, Last Comic Standing, and Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘n Out. He has hosted three comedy shows of his own making, performed his stand-up on the Shaquille O’Neal’s All-Star Comedy Jam in 2010, and made appearances as an actor on such sitcoms as Half & Half, Everybody Hates Chris and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. Finally, he is provides the voice of Robert Tubbs on the Family Guy spin-off, The Cleveland Show.

Disc jockey, Gary Owens, has been in radio since starting his career in 1952 as a DJ for KORN (1490 AM) in Mitchell, South Dakota. He is the creator of comic characters like the gruff old man Earl C. Festoon, the crusty old Endocrine J. Sternwallow. His baritone voice has been featured frequently on Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, and he has done numerous voiceovers for television, radio, and commercials.

Huggy Lowdown is a celebrity snitch and featured personality on the  nationally-syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show.
