2013 Indy Greek Fest: Get You To The Greek!

Did you miss out on trying the delicious gyros and delectable baklava at Indy Greek Fest? No worries. Here are some pictures to fill you in on what happened at this year’s celebration.


There were so many fresh Greek pastries to choose from in the pastry tent. It was difficult to choose!

A cooking demonstration was held each hour to teach the public how to make traditional Greek food.


This mother & daughter-in-law duo taught us how to make their favorite baklava recipe.

Greek salad, humus, gyros, souvlaki — the vendors gave the public a true taste of Greece.

No need to w(h)ine. The sampler tray gave a well-rounded taste of some of the best Greek wines.

George Karras serenaded the audience with traditional Greek music.

The beautiful Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Guided church tours were given throughout the day.


Several tents were full of artifacts and information about the Greek culture.
